About Castlebar

In 2002, I saw my first BRT. Two years later, I had the good fortune of locating a breeder in my area, Duck Creek Kennels, where a litter was soon expected. In August 2004, I bought my first BRT. I couldn’t wait for Monica to turn 6 months old so I could begin showing her. As a new owner-handler, it was quite the experience. Her first major win was at the Connecticut Working Dog Specialty in 2005, where she received a group 3rd place win. A year later, Monica received her AKC champion title.

As for my other three girls, they were imported from Russia, France and Canada. (Please feel free to view their pedigrees). Each one of my girls has their own distinctive personality but all are loved the same.
